Started guitar when I was 16 (went to school for Jazz Guitar, then Music Composition). But I play piano now, though I wouldn’t consider myself very good. I mainly just practice sightreading all day.
I tried saxophone for a few months, here’s a photo of young me with it. I respect brass, wind, string, and percussion players so much because they’re impossible for me to play.
I feel that way about everything I see around me though, not just musical instruments - my inability to understand things is why I’ve learned to appreciate them so much.
