Is MLP ‘Smile Smile Smile’ My Duke Nukem Forever?
Granted, that game took 14 years to launch, but it’s making me laugh because I’m SO CLOSE to finishing My Little Pony ‘Smile Smile Smile’ and I keep pushing it back for some reason.
Internet, I need positive reinforcement to finish this piece for you.
So I checked my Youtube messages for the first time in years today (my channel clearly states to email me or Tumblr me). But anyway, I’m coming across some really crazy stuff. Although this picture butchers my last name, I like this conductor My Little Piano and the music note cutie mark.
My Little Pony Audio Directions. Send!
1.) Record a clap (mp3, aiff, wav, flac, ogg, wma, etc) using Quicktime, Audacity, or Sound Recorder. Soundcloud also has a recorder built-in to their website incase you’re stuck, AND they have an iPhone app incase you don’t have a microphone on your computer!
2.) Go to Soundcloud.com and upload/record your masterpiece! If you can only do 1 snap, that’s fine.
3.) License your file Creative Commons, so I can use it :)
4.) Send me the link, my username is @ForOrchestra

The Brony Show Interview
A few months ago I was interviewed on The Brony Show. You can listen to it here (starts at the 42 minute mark).
We talk about:
- How I’m not a Brony
- Passion and how I got my start in music
- The meaning of success differs from one person to another, I level success through my community
- How I have to stop saying “you know” and “ummm” when I talk
At first I’m nervous, then I loosen up as the show goes on. I’ve never been a fan of the 2 minute hyper-edited interviews. This is an 1 hour hangout. So fun.
A video to answer everyone’s questions about having poor microphones, and being upset that they can’t snap the ‘normal’ way. We will find a way for you to be on this song!

On next week’s My Little Pony ‘Smile Smile Smile’ For Orchestra this one part would sound awesome with snapping fingers.
1.) If I set up a submission page, would you submit an audio file of your finger snapping abilities?
2.) This idea will only work if I get 50+ submissions because it needs to sound “full”
3.) I’ll stream it live so you can watch me add in your parts before I release it.
4.) If this goes well, then I have other ideas and lots of other songs we can do together.

I specifically did not want questions enabled for my MLP audio post today. But somehow, some way, tumblr seems to have magically added them in there - how’d that happen? There’s not even a question mark within the post. And I can’t turn them off.
