aysahwinterfell asked: I just wanted to make sure you saw this. In response to your "Is 6 Minutes Too Long?" post, I have only one thing to say; to me there's no such thing as too long with music as long as you can hold your audience's attention throughout the piece. The problem I seem to see with longer songs is when they add sections to the piece that just end being repetitive and far too drawn out, almost like they added it just to lengthen their song. Just my 2 cents!
I agree. As a result, when I write music it’s doesn’t “repeat” per se. Imagine if a movie looped scenes? That’s what it feels like to me. I like to be taken for a journey.
This 6 minute piece is called “Dare To Transform” and it’s coming out this week. As I described above, it will take you on an adventure, not in a circle.

you know now that I think about it, that would be a great creative unique name for a song titled “is 6 minutes too long”. Its like art, but with music.
