The purpose of this post is to remind you to protect your ear., That’s all. As musicians, and listeners/fans of music, our ear is the most important thing. But we unknowingly listen on music on our iPods at a deafening volume. We turn up the sound during movies, and we sit front row at a concert (like I did for Primus in 2001).
But I’m always attentive to protect my hands and ear. Fortunately I was only left with a temporary scare last week when I got Tinnitus after I went skydiving.
I’m also beginning to go to a lot of live shows. And I can’t think of anything else I’d never leave at home rather than my ear plugs. These particular one I received from Starkey during SXSW, and I even thanked them for it.
Let’s have a life-time of awesome music, creation, and more. I never leave home without my ear plugs now, and besides they’re connected to my keys, so how could I?
